WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Reporting to the Director, Mental Health and Addictions, the Manager is part of a leadership team that is jointly responsible for providing direction, leadership, support, and guidance for the operation and planning of all the Mental Health & Addictions department.

The scope includes management of the multidisciplinary teams, program planning and development, monitoring and evaluation, management of human, physical, fiscal, and supply resources, and internal and external departmental and community liaison and service planning and coordination.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor degree in a health care related discipline required

Master's degree preferred

Member in good standing with a relevant professional college required

Mental health experience or exposure to working with those with mental health & addictions challenges required

The following would be an asset:
Completion of management courses

Completion of healthcare leadership training/educational courses

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion education/certification

Training in conflict management

Education/courses in change management

Mental Health Nursing (CPMHN) if applicable
