Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on customer partnership opportunities
  • Has a laser focus on delivering an exceptional Customer Experience
  • Implement strategic business development growth plans to support existing customers
  • Develop new and lasting relationships in an effort to grow business that will contribute to the company's growth plans and surpass individual sales targets
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded
  • Identify new and innovative market opportunities and ways to mitigate competitive threats within the marketplace
  • Manages time, priorities and activities with precision using the tools provided

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years prior transportation management/freight brokerage related business development/sales experience
  • Hunter/Attainer mentality who constantly seeks new markets and new business expansion opportunities
  • Proven experience within the nonasset, 3PL transportation industry including TL and LTL pricing in the Canadian, cross border and US marketplace
  • Strong communication, technical and interpersonal skills that focus on customer service
  • Proven and demonstrated knowledge and execution of successful sales development strategies
  • A team player that possesses the ability to work independently to meet goals and deadlines
  • Proximity to the GTA required
