We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Junior School as a
Before & After School Care Supervisor/Teaching Assistant.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position from September 2023 to June 2024.

The Position:

Specific Accountabilities:

Work with teachers to support students individually and in small groups;
Provide coverage for teachers and supervise students during recess and lunch;
Participate and contribute to relevant professional development sessions;
Oversee the management of the Junior School After Care Program;
Provide enriching and engaging before and after care programming;
Contribute and maintain a safe, and nurturing environment
Maintain accurate records for billing
Other duties as assigned
Hours will either be 95pm or 106pm

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Post Secondary Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, or a Bachelor of Education (asset);
Member of the Ontario College of Teachers (asset);
Experience working with students from age 12;
Professional, organized, approachable, positive, flexible, creative, dependable;
Strong oral and written communication skills.
