Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Administrative Services, this position is responsible for ensuring that the Board's data information systems provide the information required to support management strategic decisions, manage day to day operations, and provide analysis and information for research for information requests, all in compliance with set standards, business rules and practices.
This position interacts with all Board staff and Board members, stakeholders, ministry and department contacts, other Boards and stakeholders both provincially and federally, internal and external service consultants, and service providers.
Researching, analyzing and recommending potential systems and information technology to move the Board strategically will require an innovative approach to trends, issues and future technology.
As a Database Business Analyst for the Board, you will have essential responsibilities including but not limited to:- Business Analysis
- coordinate the operational business planning process for designing and enhancing the information technology tools.
- Information Technology Management ensure that the case management systems and information technology meet the needs of the Board.
- Database Reports and Quality Control create ad hoc and static reports out of the CRM case management system and database that provide tools for operational management, quality control and business plan/annual reporting requirements.
- Database and Information Technology Policies and Procedures ensures database and information technology policies and procedures are understandable and userfriendly to meet Board requirements for training, daytoday usage and inputting for data integrity.
- Desktop and Other Hardware Support assist users troubleshooting desktop, network, software and peripheral hardware (mobile devices, scanners, printers, copier, conference phones) issues and escalate through the appropriate channels.

- Coordinate and submit service requests via BERNIE or to any relevant service providers.

Qualifications:
University graduation in Computing Science or in a related field plus 2 years progressively responsible related experience.
Equivalencies will be considered as follows:
related certificate and minimum of 3 years progressively responsible related experience; minimum of 4 years progressively responsible related experience.
Positions requirements:
- 4 years experience with SQL queries, and Visual Studio including creating SSRS reports.
