Great Blue Resorts owns and operates 8 private resort lakefront properties located throughout Ontario's cottage country. These properties offer outright ownership of beautiful pre-manufactured seasonal recreational cottages. Our resorts have full facilities including community areas, swimming pools, splash pads, multi-sports courts, playgrounds and beaches.Resort Administrator Seasonal Role 10 Months March 1 till November 30
Position Overview
The overall function of a Resort Administrator is to process and coordinate business transactions at the resort level, including customer and vendor billings & credits, sales transactions and to provide related accounting support.
The position reports directly to the Finance team and reporting directly to the Purchasing Supervisor and Revenue & Receivables Supervisor, and while working daily with the resort General Manager and Sales Support.
A Resort Administrator must possess strong time management skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet tight timelines, while providing support to the resort and existing owners.
- 1+ years' experience in accounting in either an accounting firm or industry
- Postsecondary certificate or degree in Business with accounting major, or equivalent
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent professional verbal and writing skills
- Demonstrated trackrecord of adhering to systems of controls
- Demonstrated trackrecord of flexibility and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated trackrecord of meeting deadlines and working independently
- Experience using accounting software
- Experience using enterprise software is preferred
Daily Resort Administration activities
1.
Purchasing and Payables include:
The Resort Administrator will work closely with the Purchasing Supervisor for all purchasing and payable activities.
- Vendor Relationship Management
- Manage Facilities pass documents
- Payments
b. Update payment information on cottage sale deals daily.
5.
Payroll administration activities:
Bi-Weekly payroll will be submitted by 10:00am Monday mornings according to our payroll submission schedule and will be forwarded to the Payroll administrator.
- Staffing & Time Capture
b. Review and submit employee time capture information for bi-weekly payroll
c. Prepare, obtain approval, and submit employee change forms and time off request forms as needed
7.
Park Model Sales Administration activities include:
The Resort Administrator will be working closely with the Sales Support Manager to ensure all documentation for a park model deal is accurate, complete and timely.
