General Responsibilities:


  • Identify and launch new and innovative strategies and opportunities for driver engagement in the constantly changing and growing market
  • Research, identify, and establish business relationships with recruiting sources in the local community, as well as manage relationships with recruiting vendors
  • Recommend, plan, and implement recruitment and retention strategies for the department.
  • Coordinate staffing capacity needs with operations and safety department.
  • Ensure proper reporting and applicant tracking.
  • Support members of other department as needed (Safety & Compliance, Operations)
  • This position is not limited to the above and can be modified and expanded as required

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years' driver recruitment experience in transportation required
  • Previous experience in transportation safety & compliance is an asset
  • Experience using various recruitment sources in the recruitment process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in collaboration with others
  • Commitment to providing excellent employee relations
  • Multitasking skills and strong prioritization skills
  • Highly motived, selfstarter and ability to work in fastpaced environment.

Experience:

Driver Recruitment: 3 years (preferred)
