THE ROLE
As part of a growing and dynamic People team, the Analyst, Data & HRIS Service Excellence will play a key role in maximizing technological capabilities within the People department and provide value-added support by leveraging data and insights to support the various People Centres of Excellence (COEs).
Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Effectiveness & Total Rewards, the Analyst, Data & HRIS Service Excellence will be responsible for providing high-quality analytical support, process optimization and expertise to the People COEs.

This role is based in downtown Toronto under a hybrid work policy, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (approximately two days per week in-office).
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assess, research, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data and stakeholder needs.
- Run queries, build assumptions, perform statistical and predictive analysis, and build comprehensive reporting packages to present insights and recommendations to People Team Leadership
- Design and create dashboards to visualize People data, including but not limited to insights and trends in the areas of Total Rewards, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Reconciliation (EDI & Reconciliation), Talent Acquisition, and Culture & Engagement
- Develop and continuously improve analytical models to assess the performance of People programs.
- Identify gaps and implement innovative technological and analytical solutions to increase the efficiency, integrity, and accuracy of HRIS reporting.
- Plan, conceptualize, and design compelling and impactful graphics, charts, report templates, and presentation decks to strengthen the People team's messaging.
- Ensure accuracy and precision of formatted materials such as reports, presentation decks, and templates
- Collaborate with crossfunctional People teams to provide analytical guidance and support for various initiatives and adhoc projects, as required.
- Optimize HRIS processes by supporting the Manager, Organizational Effectiveness & Total Rewards with regular HRIS maintenance and testing for upgrades and enhancements.
- Support with other projects and adhoc analysis as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Undergraduate degree / College diploma, preferably in quantitative field of study (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Math, etc.)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong MS Excel skills and a high level of analytical capabilities, attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work under pressure and manage projects with multiple or competing deadlines.
- Proven ability to communicate and synthesize medium to complex ideas or large amounts of data into simple and concise presentations and reports.
- Strong work ethic, team player with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong understating of data modelling methodologies and best practices for data visualization techniques
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is considered a strong asset.
- Programming skills (e.g., VBA, Python, etc.) are a preference.
