Hiring Unit:

Desautels Faculty of Management_

Position Summary:
Under the direction of McGill Desautels Vice-Dean, Programs; in close collaboration with the faculty Local Wellness Advisor; and under the direct supervision of the Wellness Ambassador Program Coordinator, the Wellness Ambassador may perform the listed tasks:

Facilitate the maintenance of current wellness activities and contribute to the creation of new wellness initiatives within the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management.
Act as a resource for planning, promoting, scheduling, setting up, hosting, and following up on wellness related events as needed.
Assist the Resilience and Wellness (RAW) committee members with tasks such as taking minutes, organizing events, and preparing documents and reports as needed.
Liaise with RAW committee members to identify key wellness related needs within the faculty, gather materials related to wellness education, and produce promotional materials.
Acts as a liaison between the unit and internal or external parties, such as fellow McGill students, to provide navigation assistance or information regarding wellness resources.

The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by the Wellness Ambassador.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Advanced English, spoken and written, is a requirement.

Must be a currently registered undergraduate student in the Desautels Faculty of Management.

This position includes 5 hours per week, August 15th, 2024- April 30th, 2025, with the flexibility to alter and adjust the workload on a weekly basis as per the applicant's schedule, allowing for more or less hours on any given week.
