K&K Insurance is looking for an Underwriting Assistant
Each year, K&K Insurance is called upon to provide insurance coverage for sports, leisure and entertainment events, leagues, associations and business organizations across Canada.
As a full-service managing underwriter, we perform a variety of functions, allowing us to create the greatest value for our clients.
We conduct program research and development, sales & marketing, underwriting and policy issuance & administration.
Our goal is to provide quality, professional commercial insurance products and services to virtually every aspect of the markets we serve.

Responsibilities
- Service a book of business in collaboration with the Underwriter and Underwriting Manager
- Maintain electronic client files and abeyance files for outstanding underwriting information
- Assist with underwriting and preparation of quotes and binders
Education and Experience
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Risk, Insurance or similar area of focus is preferred, but not mandatory
- Must be technologically savvy and datadriven
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities successfully
- Demonstrated strength in a variety of detailed administrative tasks, including but not limited to spreadsheet management, document management and reviewing detailed documentation for accuracy
- Selfmotivated with an innate curiosity and desire to learn
