The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a
Vice President, eCommerce for
our eCommerce Team.


As a Vice President, eCommerce you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, implementation, operations, and processes associated with all aspects of the company's eCommerce website and digital presence to improve the overall omnichannel experience.

In this role, the individual will lead and implement cross-platform strategies and initiatives to drive traffic, optimize conversion and retention rates, and increase eCommerce revenues and profitability.

As the Vice President, eCommerce, you will:

  • Build the guiding vision and lead the eCommerce business with Guest insights, clear strategies, and articulated tactics.
  • Collaboratively identify and drive the overall eCommerce and digital strategy, partnering with relevant teams across the organization to optimize the online Guest experience and maximize usability, performance, and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Own relationships with major vendors.
  • Own the ecommerce platform, and longterm strategy.
  • Leverage strong business analytics and data insights to find actionable solutions to Guest and business issues.
  • Lead the daytoday operations and technology teams to deliver on the eCommerce strategies, Guest experience tactics and achievement of topline sales growth, profit, operating metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for eCommerce functionality, including navigation, facets and attributes, site conversion, promotions, and merchandising features.
  • Lead and cultivate a strong sense of urgency and importance around the Guest experience within the team.
  • Build crossfunctional relationships with Sales, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics teams to deliver the eCommerce channel plan and to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Support category plans and tactic execution as it relates to eCommerce.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, or technology.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an ecommerce leadership position.
  • Wellversed in strategic vision and tactical execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating closely across crossfunctional teams.
  • Previous experience building and leading a team, managing offshore resources will be considered an asset.
  • Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to formulate, present, and advance business proposals to various audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing channels as related to driving and converting online traffic.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
  • Experience in site development from a technical and aesthetic perspective.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce software, and custom enhancements.
  • Superior organization, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build consensus and work effectively with crossdepartmental teams and thirdparty partners.
  • Displays professionalism, strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Criminal Record Check is required.
  • Travel may be required.
