Based out of our office in Vancouver BC office, you'll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams associated with our Western Canada Offices to contribute to the environmental planning and permitting efforts of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects.

As an Entry-Level Planner, you'll have the opportunity to support a multidisciplinary team in coordinating projects through the permitting and approvals process.

This position will be a temporary assignment (flex contract, approximately 6 months with opportunity for extension). Bring your enthusiasm for learning and desire to conserve our natural resources, and we'll help you grow

Here's What You'll Need:

Minimum degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology/Ecology, Landscape Architecture or a related field
Accurate record keeping and strong time management skills
Positive attitude and selfmotivated, with strong consideration for safety in the field
Excellent interpersonal skills, teamoriented, and suited to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
A driver's license and ability to provide a clean, 3 year driving abstract

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

Relevant oil and gas an regulatory experience is an asset
Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, primarily in western Canada
Demonstrated technical writing skills
