Based out of our office in Vancouver BC office, you'll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams associated with our Western Canada Offices to contribute to the environmental planning and permitting efforts of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects.

As an Entry-Level Planner, you'll have the opportunity to support a multidisciplinary team in coordinating projects through the permitting and approvals process.


This position will be a temporary assignment (flex contract, approximately 6 months with opportunity for extension). Bring your enthusiasm for learning and desire to conserve our natural resources, and we'll help you grow

Here's What You'll Need:


  • Minimum degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Biology/Ecology, Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • Accurate record keeping and strong time management skills
  • Positive attitude and selfmotivated, with strong consideration for safety in the field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamoriented, and suited to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A driver's license and ability to provide a clean, 3 year driving abstract

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Relevant oil and gas an regulatory experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, primarily in western Canada
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
