Operating ATMs for banks (BMO, RBC, etc.) major retailers (Walmart, Rexall, Sobeys, etc.) and just about any other type of business you can imagine who would support at ATM, Perativ provides services to a large portfolio of customers across Canada.


We are currently seeking a
Parts Repair Technician to join our team on a 4-month contract, working 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who like working with their hands and solving problems on a daily basis.


Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, the Parts Repair Technician is responsible to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair ATM parts and equipment to support the organization nationally.

Working out of our Montreal warehouse, this individual will ensure that any defective ATM parts and equipment are repaired to provide a quick turnaround to our customers.

From time to time, this individual will complete other duties as assigned by management.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair ATM equipment and parts.
  • Maintain accurate detailed records of repairs / estimates.
  • Keep repaired inventory uptodate.
  • Assist coworkers, as needed, such as: programming ATM terminals, cleaning equipment for installs, and ensuring the Montreal warehouse is organized appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • High School Diploma, required.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written an asset but not required.

EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND KEY COMPETENCIES

  • 1 to 2 years' prior experience in a technical service role.
  • Astute office skills, including: computer usage, data entry, and word processing.
  • Demonstrate a professional manner in communicating with colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team environment.
  • Selfstarter, who pays attention to detail and stays organized.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, using independent judgment to resolve unusual work problems.
  • Sound reading and writing ability.
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and work on their feet throughout the day.
  • Astute focus on customer service.
