Description

Utilize Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and good at data manipulation/presentation, to effectively organize, manage and outline Purchasing related information;

Place daily purchase orders in a timely manner, in order to fill our branch requirements;
Provide our customer (our branches) with exemplary service;
Contact our own branches, vendors, and working with our accounting department in both order preparation, and problem resolutions;
Assist and participate in projects as they arise;
Negotiate and resolve issues with branches and vendors;
Able to work independently
Other duties as required

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Previous purchasing experience, or experience within a related position;
Good communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to work productively in a teamcentric environment;
Able to work independently

with limited supervision and make some key decisions;

Skilled in time management and organization;
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel;
Flexibility to adapt to special/adhoc projects as they arise.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with building products and construction equipment will be considered an asset.

Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
