We are looking for a
Junior Logistics Data Analyst for our corporate office in Scarborough.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide ongoing analysis in areas such as transportation costs and delivery processes
  • Maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating and demand forecasting
  • Develop and maintain KPI's in BI tool.
  • Confer with Senior Analyst to determine ways to optimize service levels, Maximize vehicle usage, and limit the movement of empty vehicles and containers to minimize cost
  • Support Senior Analyst to remotely monitor the flow of vehicles and inventory using Webbased logistics information systems to track vehicles and trailers
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes
  • Review procedures, to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum cost
  • Support Senior Analyst in daily tasks and ongoing projects.
  • Maintain data on logistics elements, such as Supply chain management, strategic sourcing/distribution, and transportation.

Qualifications:


  • 13 years' experience in Logistics and Business Analytics
  • A high level of mathematical ability
  • Advanced knowledge of data Analytics in Excel
  • Ability to analyze, model and interpret data
  • Excellent interpersonal, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to interact with employees and customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills
