Description
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Clinical Resource Manager (CRM) has both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Primary responsibilities include coordinating the movement of residents and patients to/from/within the site. The CRM is responsible for resource management and direct supervision of staff.

The CRM interacts with residents, direct care staff, physicians, other departments and interdisciplinary teams, families and legal representatives on a daily basis.

Essential to the role is the ability to create a climate of interdepartmental respect and collaboration by modeling the Covenant Health mission, vision and values.

Key aspects of the role include the professional development of your team, sound resource management and ensuring quality resident centered care through participation and leadership of various quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a health-related field (RN, OT, SW, PT) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Active license and registration with applicable professional college required. Flexible, highly motivated and self-directed. Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills required. 3-5 years of Continuing Care operations experience. 1 year of management/supervisory experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong clinical knowledge and skills, current computer skills along with familiarity with software programs. Provides evidence of professional development, exhibits excellent analytical and communication skills. Demonstrates sound problem-solving and critical thinking skills, flexible with change. Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize. Able to thrive in a dynamic team with capacity to demonstrate broad understanding of the complex systems of healthcare.
