The position at a glance


The Internal Communications and Content Coordinator is primarily responsible in assisting in the development and execution of corporate communication strategies to enhance BNP Paribas' internal and external communication efforts.


In detail

  • Assist with the development and implementation of an internal communications and content program for a defined set of BNP Paribas businesses and/or functions Canada.
  • Create original content on the accomplishments, projects and people of BNP Paribas across a number of communications channels
  • Write all Canada internal announcements, including organizational announcements, employee news, HR updates, DE&I or CSR initiatives, etc.
  • Help with developing and executing Town Halls, videos, presentations, and social media posts as needed
  • Handle the contents of the weekly internal newsletter
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal constituents from the businesses and functions
  • Develop and update corporate content and materials
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

  • 4 to 7 years' experience in internal communications, preferably at a bank or other financial institution
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Intranet and website management experience, as well as familiarity with social network platforms
  • Sound judgement on prioritization of content and its presentation
  • Ability to visually communicate concepts or themes
  • Strong project management, prioritization and organization skills

Ability to:

  • Synthesize and analyze data
  • Manage multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment in a fastpaced environment
  • Work across the organization as required and maintain high standards of professionalism in all dealings with team members and external clients
  • Work well independently and within a team
