    For almost 20 years, *Aquatech, *has been a leading supplier and distributor of specialized Dewatering and Pumping Equipment, including advanced Water Filtration and Treatment Equipment/Systems.

    We are excited to announce that due to recent expansions, we are adding an experienced and self-motivated *Recruiter *to join our team You will be based in our Vaughan, Ontario head office but the ability to travel for this position is a requirement.

    Having the leadership skills to drive recruitment strategies, lead the end-to-end recruitment process and contract negotiation are key components of this position.

    Our focus in supporting construction, mining, industrial, municipal, and agricultural applications span a wide range of customers and sectors.

    Ideally, you will have experience in one or more of these sectors.*Overview of Responsibilities:
    Partner with leadership and managers on developing recruitment strategies and assessing hiring needs for each department/branch.

    Work with leadership and managers on ensuring job descriptions are updated to suit the needs of the department/branch. Drive end-to-end recruitment by leading the sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing and selection process. Liaise, oversee, and manage all partnership programs with colleges and universities, training institutions and community partners. Build candidate pool through job postings, attending career fairs, community networking events to identify and attract quality hires. Negotiate, deliver, and communicate employment contracts with potential candidates and communicate onboarding steps with new hires. Report on analytics related to recruitment and retention.

    Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source potential candidates Conduct interviews and screenings to assess candidate qualifications Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop job descriptions Manage the full recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future opportunities Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progressPosition Requirements:
    Diploma and/or degree required with a focus on human resources an asset.* 3-5 years experience in full cycle recruiting; industry specific experience an asset.
    • Some travel will be required for this position (approximately 25%).
    • Working knowledge of employment standards, collective agreements, employee relations, coaching and onboarding.
    • Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR) an asset.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to work under limited supervision and tight deadlines.
