Outside Sales Representative & Technician - Lift Division
- Regina, S.K.


We are looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative that also possesses technical expertise to join our Lift Division team in Saskatchewan.

The responsible territory will be Southern Saskatchewan, and the entire province of Manitoba.


This position would have the individual working remotely out of Regina and is ideal for a highly motivated and responsible person that is interested in continuing a career selling and working with lifts & garage equipment.

This includes automotive lifts, heavy duty lifts, alignment machines, wheel servicing equipment, lubrication equipment, vehicle damage detection cameras, and more.

Responsibilities:


  • Sourcing and developing new business leads.
  • Following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects.
  • Conducting sales presentations to prospective clients to demonstrate the functionality and advantages of our industrial lifts, and other division equipment.
  • Providing product demonstrations, technical assistance, operational training, and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Ensuring all communication with new or existing customers is logged into our operating system.
  • Preparing sales forecasts and reports.
  • Offering professional, effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Providing guidance on pricing, and competitiveness.
  • Participating in trade shows, or associated product meetings and new training whenever necessary.
  • Maintaining, inspecting, and servicing our customer's automotive lifts, wheel servicing equipment, and other garage equipment including installations and equipment deliveries.

Requirements & Skills:


  • Demonstrated success in outside sales within the lifting equipment industry, including experience as a technician.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CDK software for sales tracking, CRM, and reporting.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required, with trailer towing capability for equipment transportation and onsite demonstrations.
  • Class 3 license preferred for enhanced proficiency in handling heavyduty vehicles and lift industry equipment.

Related Physical, & Safety Requirements:


  • Extensive travel and trailer driving ability, with occasional overnight stays to meet with clients or prospects.
  • Proficiency in loading, securing, and offloading equipment, including conducting demonstrations, training, installations, and maintenance services.
  • Capacity to independently lift, carry, and maneuver sales materials and lift parts up to 70 pounds, and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
  • Physical agility to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and handeye coordination for precise tool and equipment manipulation.
  • Stamina to work outdoors and in various weather conditions during client visits and industry events.
  • Good vision for detailed inspections and repairs, including closeup work.
  • Ability to climb ladders and maintain balance and coordination at heights or on uneven surfaces.
  • Sufficient hearing to detect equipment malfunctions and communicate effectively in noisy environments.
  • Respiratory fitness for safe work in environments with potential hazardous substance exposure.
  • Effective task prioritization and meeting sales quotas.
  • Collaborative teamwork with technicians and team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adherence to safety policies and protocols, including customer site requirements.
  • Proper maintenance and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


It's important for heavy equipment technicians to prioritize their physical health and safety by adhering to proper lifting techniques, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and taking regular breaks to prevent fatigue and reduce the risk of injury.


Workstation, Work Environment:


You will be provided with a laptop, cellular phone, and the use of a mobile workstation /company vehicle for work purposes only.

An ELD and maintenance of daily RODs are mandatory.
