This position reports to Production Control Assistant Manager

This position is for our Office Shift of 8:00AM - 5:00PM located in our Stratford Site.


Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service:


  • Daily EDI, Shippers, Paperwork, ASN & Extractions for all customers including service
  • Follow up with all customer requests, expedites & supplemental orders
  • Safety stock inventory tracking
  • Communicate daily production behind status to management

Planning:


  • Plan & release orders and forecast to suppliers
  • Track supplier delivery performance
  • Support with build out / build up with PPCC and Launch Specialist
  • ECI tracking & control
  • Perform supplier barcode label audits to ensure accuracy
  • Daily backorder report check, invoice approval & packing slip verification
  • Monitor inventory transactions in JDE and maintain JDE for new parts or changes
  • Monthly/yearend inventory

Packaging:


  • Inventory control on packaging material
  • Address current production packaging concerns skid & lids, cardboard usage, returnable shortages etc.

Logistics:


  • SSR (Special Shipment Requests) for Stratford plant

Other:


  • Excellent communication skills, including a good relationship with the customer
  • Kaizen current processes
  • Job must be performed within H&S guidelines
  • TG Minto may amend the reporting structure and/or duties and responsibilities as business needs require.

Qualifications:


  • Post secondary education or 25 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced level of computer experience including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ability to understand and control EDI and inventory control systems (JDE and Future 3).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
  • Must have an excellent attendance record
  • Must be able to have flexible work hours including weekends to support the customer when required
  • Must be able to prioritize work
