Human Resources Generalist

Location:
Edmonton, AB - On-Site


Position Type:

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $85,000 per year

Overview:


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain Human Resources documents
  • Lead the hiring and onboarding processes
  • Collaborate with all departments on HRrelated matters
  • Implement and administer employee policies to foster positive employee relations
  • Manage performancerelated issues and implement productivityenhancing changes
  • Contribute to the improvement of company policies and procedures
  • Handle terminationrelated matters with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Provide training and support to other team members
  • Stay uptodate on laws and regulations related to hiring and firing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Proficient in HR policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of the hiring process
  • Familiarity with best practices and regulations in HR
  • Excellent judgment and problemsolving skills
  • Conflict management expertise
  • Strong decisionmaking abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs
  • Techsavvy with the ability to learn new systems

Requirements:


  • 24 years of experience in a HR Generalist position
  • Experience in a similar industry or adjacent industry preferred
  • High school diploma required, HR Diploma preferred

Additional Details:


  • Vacation: 2 weeks
Sick Leave: 5 days PTO and 5 sick days

  • Dress Code: Business Casual (Leggings allowed)
  • Benefits: Dental, Health, etc.
  • Bonus: Annually based on company and personal performance
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Pay:
$75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
