Description

Due to continued business growth in 2023, we are looking to expand our Talent Acquisition Department You will recruit various field positions to help support our Major Infrastructure Projects for British Columbia.

You will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline that increases our bench strength. As a brand ambassador, you will act to maximize employee engagement and development in areas of talent acquisition. You enjoy being creative and utilize a wide variety of sourcing methods beyond postings.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Perform fullcycle recruitment activities which includes formulation and execution of our talent acquisition strategy, interviewing, providing education, advising hiring managers, understanding recruiting needs and job requirements, and conducting reference checks.
  • Develop and continuously improve the overall recruitment process, both internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings, and other events to target top talent.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to include professional networking, direct sourcing, employee referral program, and social media to focus on a diverse pool of talent.
  • Partner with department leaders to gain an understanding of the business drivers, objectives and regional challenges affecting talent acquisition.
  • Generate key hiring metrics and provide regular progress updates on search findings to management.
  • Participate in the development of the job evaluation process and work with managers to create job descriptions and postings.
  • Uphold confidentiality in the execution of the role.
  • Partner with the HR team to build and enhance our employer brand through the management of our Talent Community, Employee Value Proposition, and content creation.
  • Participates in HR related projects and/or performs other tasks as required that assist with the success of Paladin Technologies.
  • In collaboration with the HR team, support employee communication and messaging to ensure that employees are familiar with the organization's mission, goals, policies, and expectations.

Qualifications:


  • 34 years of progressive construction recruitment experience is essential
  • Recruiting for technical roles in the construction industry is preferred with an emphasis being placed on; Technicians, Lead Technicians, Superintendents, Electricians, Estimators and Project Managers.
  • Recruitment Agency consulting or corporate recruiting experience across a variety of positions is an asset.
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and DocuSign processes.
  • Previous experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean searching) an asset
  • Business Diploma, or equivalent designation preferred.
  • Ability to pass criminal record check

Pay:
$55,000 - $80,000 DOE
