Key Responsibilities:
- Triage client concerns to ensure accurate appointment scheduling.
- Collect payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Schedule future appointments within the designated timeframe.
- Complete daily reports and tasks as assigned.
- Admit patients for appointments and surgery, including weighing upon arrival.
- Interact with clients and patients, providing necessary assistance and maintaining quality service.
- Greet clients and patients by name.
- Counsel clients on basic nutrition, pre and postoperative care, and provide treatment instructions.
- Promote the hospital's goods and services to clients.
- Address and resolve client concerns or direct them to the appropriate staff.
- Place medication and food orders accurately.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth client and patient flow within the hospital.
- Perform cleaning duties as per the cleaning checklists.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong ability to provide empathy, understanding, and emotional support to clients.
- Calm and caring demeanor when interacting with patients.
- Comfortable and passionate about working with all types of animals.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work cohesively with team members.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of pertinent data.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a CSR or ACA or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine is a plus
- Ezyvet experience an asset
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism

$17.00-$19.00 per hour
