Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage client concerns to ensure accurate appointment scheduling.
  • Collect payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Schedule future appointments within the designated timeframe.
  • Complete daily reports and tasks as assigned.
  • Admit patients for appointments and surgery, including weighing upon arrival.
  • Interact with clients and patients, providing necessary assistance and maintaining quality service.
  • Greet clients and patients by name.
  • Counsel clients on basic nutrition, pre and postoperative care, and provide treatment instructions.
  • Promote the hospital's goods and services to clients.
  • Address and resolve client concerns or direct them to the appropriate staff.
  • Place medication and food orders accurately.
  • Coordinate and ensure smooth client and patient flow within the hospital.
  • Perform cleaning duties as per the cleaning checklists.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong ability to provide empathy, understanding, and emotional support to clients.
  • Calm and caring demeanor when interacting with patients.
  • Comfortable and passionate about working with all types of animals.
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively with team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of pertinent data.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a CSR or ACA or in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary medicine is a plus
  • Ezyvet experience an asset
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism

Job Types:

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
