We are looking for independently motivated individual to provide coverage when team members are away and/or a position is vacant as Mobile Resident Relations Manager.
The duties include but not limited to:
Ensure the property is maintained to the standard of Thorwin Properties safety, cleanliness, and repair:
- Ensure that the curb appeal of properties is addressed daily. This will include, shoveling of walkways, sidewalks, and entrances.
- Clean and/or ensure all interior common areas meet managements standard.
- Ensure that all apartment homes are shown and turned over to new residents clean and in good repair.
- Complete move in and move out unit inspections.
- Complete annual and semiannual home inspections and follow up on any items related to cleanliness, maintenance, fire safety, security, etc.
- Attend to minor maintenance and troubleshoot all requested repairs before requesting a work order. Ensuring that required repairs/deficiencies are reported to Facility Services and the Property Manager as soon as possible.
- Manage parking lot. This includes reporting unauthorized vehicles, maintaining a waiting list (if necessary), keeping it clean and in good repair.
Leasing of Apartment Homes:
- Respond to leasing inquiries and arrange viewings of upcoming or vacant apartment homes.
- On occasion conduct open houses during evenings or weekends.
Resident Relations:
- Be available for emergencies during nonworking hours.
- Provide excellent customer.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
- Property management experience an asset
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Must be organized and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid Manitoba Driver's License and reliable vehicle for use in visiting multiple locations throughout the city when needed.
