About The Role
Are you a talented writer and editor who is comfortable with technical and scientific topics?
We're currently seeking a motivated content developer with experience in creating mainly scientific collateral, but also blog and social media posts, brochures, web site content, and fact sheets

What You'll Do Here

Play a key role in driving engagement and developing value positions, messaging, and storylines for Altasciences.
Perform content lifecycle strategy and evolution, including content planning, authoring, editing, testing/metric analysis, updating, and improving, e.g., when to revisit content on web sites, inserts, proposal template, corporate presentation, corporate brochure, etc.
Maintain Altasciences' Internal Editorial Style Guide
Establish and manage workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, translating, and retiring content.
Develop innovative recommendations and solutions for releasing content.
Contribute a reader's perspective and constructive editorial input to colleagues to optimize the quality of the written messaging.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Postsecondary education in relevant field (e.g., Health sciences or related field. Relevant writing experience supported by current examples will be considered;
Minimum of 35 years of experience in copywriting and proofreading;
Excellent writing abilities. Must be able to write clearly and concisely, and to explain complex scientific information to the general public, as well as to scientific peers;
Proven success in creating quality scientific content and persuasive marketing/promotion material;
Excellent grasp of English editorial and grammatical rules;
Ability to proofread French content (an asset);
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
Ability to handle several projects concurrently; excellent planning and time management skills;
Rigor and thoroughness;
Excellent people skills; proven ability to work with a team and consult with key stakeholders at all levels of the company and proven ability to adapt communication styles based on stakeholder's needs to obtain direction and information;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite of programs (namely Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
Autonomy and resourcefulness;
Excellent English skills is required (French skills is considered a solid asset)
Comfortable learning and using technologies (e.g., to add content to website and intranet);
Comfortable and productive in a remote environment.
