Trouw Nutrition is hiringwe're adding a
Part-time Seasonal Operator to our team at the Tavistock Mill during late summer and fall harvest.

We are looking for a team player to operate equipment and machinery. This position requires someone who is energetic and can work with machines to produce animal feeds. Want to learn?? If you are local to the area and available to work
20 hrs/week for the season, we want to hear from you

The role will allow for some flexibility of the schedule and is 100% on site.

SAFETY
Our team at the Trouw feed mill takes safety seriously.
Training provided on safety policies and procedures to minimize incidence of injury. In addition, we constantly monitor quality and food safety awareness and take corrective action to prevent quality issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We will
train you to complete all paperwork required for assigned tasks ensuring proper documentation for Food Safety and follow quality standards.

Ability to follow strict manufacturing practices and safety policies
Load bulk trucks: Unload and receive the ingredients; Accurately and efficiently ship products ordered by customers
Perform the tasks related to the preventive and sanitary maintenance of the plant and ensure that the quality control requirements of the ingredients are met at all times
Operate the production line
Endeavor to be productive at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School education and the ability to communicate and write in English
Manufacturing/Farming knowledge, with on the job plus specialized (formal) training

GOOD TO KNOW:

Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.

Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
