    Position Overview:

    As a Home Care Nurse at Home Instead, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Collaborating with caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals, you will guarantee that our clients receive comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to their specific needs.

    Patient Care:

    • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
    • Conduct regular health assessments and update care plans as needed.
    • Assist with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Coordinate with caregivers, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
    • Educate clients and their families on health management and care techniques.
    • Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers to communicate health status changes.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    Support and Training:

    • Provide training and support to caregivers for delivering high-quality care.
    • Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the province of BC.
    • Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Have a minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or a related field.
    • Experience in geriatric care and chronic disease management is highly preferred.
    • Possess strong clinical skills and the ability to perform various nursing procedures.
    • Hold a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
    • Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
