RAPS is seeking an evening caregiver for an individual with ALS (S18)_

Location:_South Edmonton (near Windermere)_

-
Hours/Days:_Tuesday
  • Friday 7:00pm 10:00pm_
-
Rate of Pay:_$23.00 /hour_

Duties include but are not limited to:_
- _Evening routine assistance_
- _Mechanical transfers using a ceiling track lift_
- _Respiratory care (BiPAP machine, ventilator, cough assist)_
- _G
  • Tube preparation and feeding_
- _ROM exercises_
- _Medication administration_
- _Personal care (bathing, dressing, shaving, toileting)._

Qualifications and Other Requirements:_ _Must have a recent vulnerable sector check, previous caregiving experience with physical disabilities (minimum. 6 months) and must be a non-smoker. Previous experience with BiPAP, G-Tube feeding, and ceiling track lifts are all considered strong assets._
