CanPat Builders Ltd. is looking to add an experienced, motivated individual to the team as a Draftsperson.

The applicant will be responsible for creating custom components and blueprints using CAD for a wide range and variety of industrial metal fabrication projects.

This will be a part time position, with the opportunity to grow into full time for the right applicant.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare designs, drawings and specifications for custom components and blueprints using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  • Review components for nonconformities.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications:


  • Post secondary education in a designrelated field.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Mechanical manufacturing design experience.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 10-15 per week


Salary:
$16.76-$35.44 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • WEST ST

PAUL, MB:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:


  • Auto

CAD:
3 years (preferred)

- drafting: 3 years (preferred)
