The Security Supervisor oversees the Security employees on duty and enforces security/safety procedures, guidelines, and service standards to protect all guests, employees, and company assets of REAL.

The Security Supervisor works collaboratively with REAL departments, clients, promoters, and emergency services (Police, Fire, EMS, and First Aid Personel).


The successful applicants must be able to work ALL Regina Pats home games between January 1, 2024 to March 22, 2024

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Perform and supervise daytoday activities of the Security Division
  • Ensuring adequate supervision of employees
  • Assigns work locations.
  • Prepare reports; distribute uniforms; coach and train on proper processes/protocols and promptly report any disciplinary concerns to management.
  • Guard all transfers/deposits of monies/assets.
  • Ensure liquor laws are being enforced.
  • Conduct bag searches.
  • Investigate incidents, address complaints, and compile data to recommend solutions.
  • Ensure doors are appropriately secured both indoors and outdoors throughout the campus.
  • Record and track event capacity numbers

Requirements:


WHAT IT TAKES

MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO ALL REGINA PATS HOME GAMES BETWEEN January 1, 2024 to March 22, 2024: please review the linked schedules closely.

  • Must be at least Nineteen (19) years of age.
  • Grade twelve (12) education is required or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Must have valid Serve-ItRight (SIRs) certification.
  • Physical ability to handle confrontational/violent/abusive/intoxicated situations.
  • Valid Driver's License must be maintained.
  • Able to walk/stand for full duration of shift.
  • Formal training and/or work experience in the field of security services and/or crowd control
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and adapt to change.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong timemanagement skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.
  • Excellent decisionmaking skills
  • This position is an inscope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
