Role Summary

Responsibilities:

Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing resolutions.
Receive and dispatch orders for trucking services and deliveries.
Use of both a phone and computer to send trucks, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations.
Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate their schedules.
Provide all field units information about locations, traffic, obstacles and requirements; and
Additional and alternative duties that may be changed from timetotime by the Employer.

Qualifications:

23 years proven experience as a dispatcher or relevant position
Techsavvy knowledge of relevant methods of transport
Exceptional data entry skill and typing speed
Proficient in English (oral and written); Active listener with excellent communication skills
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Sound judgement and critical thinking skill set
