Negotiation skills:
- Plan, prepare and conduct negotiations supported by a fact base

- Define potential scenarios, negotiation roles and a negotiation strategy
- Prepare and execute negotiation tactics and approaches including ability to adapt/flex tactics during a negotiation
- Achieve negotiation outcomes that are winwin results
Presentation skills:
- Present ideas effectively to individuals or groups
- Effective in a variety of formal and informal presentation settings: oneonone, small, and large groups
- Command attention and manage group process during the presentation
- Change tactics midstream when something isn't working
Problem solving skills:
- Ability to identify root causes and to solve problems for both short and long term
- Undertake to solve a complex task by breaking it down into manageable parts in a systematic, detailed way
- Anticipate potential obstacles and develop contingency plans to overcome them
- Consider the organization's priorities when making decisions or analyzing the costs and benefits of various alternative solutions
Functional expertise:
- Broad commercial and supply chain experience
- Strong interaction with and influence of internal stakeholders and outside vendors.
- Technical Background in the area if reading and understanding mechanical blueprints
- Postsecondary education is preferred
- Strong leadership skills
