About the Opportunity

The Physiotherapy Resident will work under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, treating patients in a tertiary care setting dealing with impairment, pain, or disabilities. Assessments involve detailed medical history, tests, and evaluations to devise treatment plans for optimal function recovery. Communication with various stakeholders is essential for effective patient management.

As part of a clinical team, collaboration is key in setting goals, evaluating effectiveness, and problem-solving.

About You

If you have the following, we'd love to hear from you:

• Bachelor's degree or entry-level master program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
• Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
• Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook)
• Annual BCLS certification
• WHMIS training and certification
• Additional specialized courses/education/training in areas like manual therapy or acupuncture
• Competencies in French are an asset

Hours

• Full-Time position of 75 hours bi-weekly
• Approximately a 12-month assignment

Compensation and Incentives

$33.97 Hourly rate
