Station Manager - Edmonton, Canada - DXP | HSE Integrated Ltd.
Description
DXP/HSE Integrated has a requirement for a qualified Station Manager for its
Sherwood, Alberta station.
Roles and responsibilities are:
- Building strong teams; recruitment, hiring, management and leadership.
- Determine staffing requirements and oversee the interview, hiring and training of new employees.
- Review and approval of station employee timesheets and expenses
- Management of employee performance, corrective action and terminations
- Proactively working to maintain safe and healthy working conditions by fully understanding and administering all company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Take a leadership role in safety excellence to ensure best practices are employed by every employee on every job
- Develop and execute an annual station business plan that is centered around HSE?s mission and Core Values
- Identify key challenges and solutions in field operations and seek growth opportunities where possible for the station.
- Understand the customer base and ensure quality service delivery within station area
- Monitor third party business and suppliers to ensure that they are efficiently and effectively providing the needed services and supplies while staying within budgetary limits.
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience managing all aspects of a business unit, including but not limited to:
- Daily business operations
- Employee relations
- P & L accountability
- Ongoing business development
- Quality service and delivery
- Strong background in company operations including knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Solution driven with ability to organize effectively in a multitask environment
- Excellent communications, organization and conflict resolution skills
- Above average computer skills, working knowledge of SPIRA is considered an asset
- Ability to provide mentorship, guidance and training to station personnel
- Ensure employees have the tools and training required to meet customer?s needs
- Excellent customer service skills
Required Certifications & Training
Valid unrestricted license with full driving privileges in the province of issue for the specified class of vehicle to be operated on behalf of the company or a higher class of license than that of the vehicle to be operated.
- Additional training and certifications may be necessary to meet client specifications.
