HR Generalist
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
HR Generalist to join WHILL & Scootaround North America.


What You Will Do


As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the coordination of the HR Division by providing leadership and guidance to leaders while managing the full cycle of recruitment, employee benefits, and employee relations.

You will obtain HR experience working with US and Canadian labor laws in the North American market.

What That Actually Involves

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and job offers.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Handle administrative tasks for onboarding and offboarding.
  • Conduct newhire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Foster positive employee relations and promote a positive work culture.
  • Address and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances.
  • Assist managers and employees with HRrelated inquiries.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • HR Advisory and Compliance
  • Provide guidance and advice to leadership on HR matters.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory training.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian and US labor laws.
  • HR Strategy and Policies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies.
  • Establish policies and procedures supporting business objectives.
  • Employee Benefits Management
  • Manage employee benefits program for Canada and US
  • Ensure effective administration and communication.
  • HRIS and Software Management
  • Oversee maintenance of HRIS systems and other software to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Manage performance management systems and coordinate annual reviews.
  • Gather and analyze HR metrics and reports.
  • Provide insights to inform decisionmaking.
  • Recordkeeping and Documentation
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPHR is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize projects and tasks.
  • High level of professionalism and good judgment with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work as a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (ADP WFN) will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations is an asset.
