Type of Employment:
Full time - Seasonal (8 months)

Job Duties:


  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
  • Mix, pour and spread materials
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • May tend machines or equipment used in construction
  • Chip concrete and concrete removal
  • Mix, pouring and spreading concrete, asphalt, or gravel
  • Use powered tools such as Jackhammers
  • Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel
  • Perform a variety of routine, nonmachine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete, painting and other related tasks
  • Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools, and supplies; cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and work areas

Experience:
Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Overtime might be required

Salary:
$25.02 hourly, 30-50 hours per week


Benefits:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Accommodation available at a discounted rate. Transportation provided from one work site to another at no cost.


Important Information:

Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (It includes a 30-minute paid lunch).

However, flexibility on schedule is required. Work on weekends or evenings may be needed depending on the requirements of the project. Overtime may be required. Shifts may vary depending on weather conditions.
