RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Under the supervision of Prof. Madhukar Pai, Dr. Charity Omenka, COVET Manager, and Ms.

Petra Heitkamp, TBPPM Community Manager, the incumbent will join the teams of COVET, a project examining the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on TB services in private healthcare in 3 countries (India, Indonesia and Nigeria), the TBPPM project, a learning network platform, and work on FIND-funded projects.

General Duties
The Project Manager will contribute to COVET, TBPPM, and systematic reviews


Specifically:

  • Conduct literature searches on topics relevant to the COVET and TBPPM projects (private sector TB healthcare),
  • Support the projects with drafting and editing of presentations, official communications, manuscripts and reports,
  • Assist the projects' teams in coordinating with partners and stakeholders,
  • Prepare, maintain, and update materials related to knowledge management provide short reports to disseminate progress to the wider public through newsletters, social media and website,
  • Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agencies,
  • Participate in project meetings (mostly virtual) and related webinars,
  • Contribution to systematic reviews.

Master's degree

Other education considered an asset for this position: MSc in Global/Public Health

  • Excellent English, spoken and written (knowledge of other languages are an asset),
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
  • Must be detailoriented and work with accuracy,
Additional information


Status:
Temporary Part-Time, 28 hours per week.


Pay Scale:
$ $54.08 / hour, commensurate with education & work experience.


Work Shift:
Monday to Thursday, daytime.


Work Site:
Remote work.
