Description

Port Hope Golf & Country Club _is located just a short drive form the greater Toronto area and offers an intimate, country setting with an atmosphere unparalleled by any other golf course in Ontario._

We are looking for part time
Servers who share in our passion for providing superior service and memorable experiences to our guests.

As a Server, you will be prompt, thorough, and responsive to customer needs while assisting with routine operations including preparation, clearing, and cleaning of the dining room and other general tasks associated with dining services.

You will provide superior table service to our members and guests at each meal, as well as special functions and catering events.

Responsibilities:

Greeting guests with courteous and prompt service
Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
Ensure a superb dining experience with prompt and accurate meal delivery, clearing items from tables, replenishing utensils and refilling beverages when needed
Provide assistance to the Chef and Cooks in light preparation of food as needed
Handle cash and pointofsale transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling procedures
Maintain awareness of the food & beverage menu, trends, new products etc.
Provide excellent customer service through professional and courteous interactions with members and guests at all times
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Valid Safe Food Handlers certification and Smart Serve required
Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team
Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends, callins, and holidays as assigned;
