    Master Flo Valve Inc. is currently seeking a full-time permanent Sandblaster / Painter to work with our team in Edmonton, AB.

    Work Conditions:

    Day shift:
    Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Option for overtime.
    Work is primarily performed indoors.


    Responsibilities:
    Perform all functions related to the preparation of sandblasting valve
    Perform sandblasting of valves
    Perform all functions pertaining to the painting of valves
    Participate in coordinating work schedule for the Paint and Prep area.
    Perform Inspect product for visible damage prior to and after masking
    Preserve product after painting for shipment to the customer
    Maintain traceability of prepared product
    Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the paint department
    Perform all maintenance on equipment as required.
    Ensure adherence to quality control standards.
    Actively support and comply with corporate programs, standards, and policies, including the Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality programs
    Other duties as required.


    Qualifications:
    Two or more years of industrial painting experience (manufacturing environment preferred) is required
    Two to five years of experience using Epoxy coatings is required
    Two or more years of industrial sandblasting experience is required
    NACE Level 1 training/certification is an asset
    WHIMS knowledge and training is an asset
    Overhead crane training or experience is an asset
    Hoist and rigging training or experience is an asset
    Grade 12 education preferred
    Strong interpersonal skills and capable of working with minimal supervision
    Solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
    A commitment to workplace health and safety and quality policy and objectives
