Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including food preparation, cooking, and serving
Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Train and supervise deli staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
Create work schedules and assign tasks to team members
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deli area
Interact with customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction Qualifications:
Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a kitchen or food service setting
Strong team management and supervisory skills
Ability to interview, hire, and train new employees
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various deli products
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints or issues effectively
