The Opportunity
Tundra Process Solutions has an opening for a full-time Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) Technician in Edmonton that will be responsible for all aspects of service and repair of Pressure Relief Valves.
- Cleaning valves for inspection
- Inspecting internal parts including measurement and documentation of critical dimensions
- Documenting information for valves within a computerize system
- Assembling valves in accordance to specifications
- Testing and ensuring valves are compliant to code and specifications
- Painting and tagging valves to specifications, and sealing valves in accordance to code
- Quality Control to ensure all the paperwork and tags are correct, and verified
- Experience in repairing, testing and actuating valves an asset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
- Accuracy with attention to detail are strong attributes for the role
- Good oral and written communication skills in English, including full knowledge of industryspecific vocabulary
- Ability to work beyond the normal scope of work, including overtime & weekends
- Ability to read and understand and follow technical specifications for the assembly, teardown and repair of equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
