Job Summary:


You are an Equipment Coordinator who will play an integral part in the expansion of our Highways Maintenance contracts in Alberta.

You will work under the direction and guidance of the Asset Management Team and assists with the ongoing maintenance management support through maintenance activities, record keeping and work orders, reporting, and site engagement.


You will be exposed to and gain experience in all aspects of an equipment maintenance program including work order generation and tracking, preventive maintenance scheduling, financial reporting, equipment compliance, and equipment replacement forecasting.

Essential Requirements

  • Performing work in a safe and efficient manner and proactively participating and encouraging a positive safety culture
  • Learn about the technical, operational and managerial aspects of Asset Management and contribute to the success of the team
  • Perform administrative duties including issuing work orders, updating preventive maintenance schedules, record keeping
  • Assist with data collection and reporting on: defect backlog, servicing, facility maintenance, compliance
  • Understand equipment finances and perform equipment analysis, including fleet forecasting, monthly finance summaries, wear parts
  • Host meetings with sites supported to review equipment health and plan repairs and services
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of equipment telematics
  • Prepare purchase requisitions for approval and assist with procurement of materials and equipment

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience is an asset
  • Exposure to equipment fleets of over 100 production units
  • Can build relationships, team orientated, personable, confident, able to influence key stakeholders and proactively participate in discussions
  • Knowledge of office processes: ERP systems, data management, telematics
  • Knowledge of the National Safety Code
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong technical skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software
