JOB TITLE:
LNG/CNG Service Technician

Joining our Service Department, you'll be working with mindful critical thinkers supporting CNG & LNG assets such as processing facilities, dispensing stations, mobile fuel tankers, generators, and marine vessels.

This includes performing safe and reliable maintenance work related to prevention, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maxquip currently has 2 LNG/NGT Service Technicians working full time who performs the duties and responsibilities described below.

The 3rd Service Technician will also perform these duties and will have the full support of the department for training and back up support.

Shall provide regular scheduled maintenance on LNG and CNG stations for fixed and mobile assets
Shall initiate solving problems and finding solutions in a high level of quality of performance
Shall work often unsupervised and source technical assistance as required for specialized work and construction
Shall lead by example ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of tasks
Contribute to monthly meetings to improve all aspects of LNG and CNG stations
Contribute to 24/7 oncall service
Follow administrative protocols to document all work completed and submit detailed work orders, technical and safety reports, timecards and expense reports.
May also be required to provide technical direction or training

Qualifications & Attributes**Applicants should possess the following attributes & Qualifications:

Qualification: Minimum of either Gas Fitting/Instrumentation/Electrical Certification
Proficiency to diagnostics, install and repair of highpressure component Industrial valving systems up to 5000 PSI.
Proficiency with electrical systems, such as HMI priority panels or equipment up to 600VAC
Proficiency in the use of power operated and hand tools, equipment and instruments.
Understanding of compressors, generators and compression equipment is a definite asset.
Understanding of administrative influence with operations
Strong problemsolving and communication skills
Ability to complete tasks independently often or within a group
Ability to contribute to overtime on occasion and 24/7 on call service scheduled intervals
Ability to follow protocols and retain written or verbal instructions
Have a valid BC driver's license & mechanical aptitude
Valid Canadian Passport and able to work in Canada

Working Conditions
All of the LNG and CNG stations are located outside. Working under the sun, rain and snow are to be expected.

Physical Requirements

Applicants should be in good physical condition as most of this job requires you to be on your feet for most of the day.

Some medium to heavy lifting may be required occasionally.

Salary and Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. A service vehicle is also provided.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and includes a comprehensive benefit package.

There is no daily set start or end time for this position.

Each Service Technician is responsible for organizing his or her schedule so that all tasks provided is completed in a timely manner.

Normal workdays are 8 hours, but overtime shall be worked as required.

Weekends will also need to be worked as per our customer's request and each technician will be required to be on call on a scheduled basis.

Although applicants are expected to be quite flexible with their availability, Maxquip also maintains a flexible attitude towards its employees work schedule so that a positive work environment is always maintained.

No Service Technician shall ever feel overwhelmed with the workload. Maintaining a happy work environment is of upmost importance at Maxquip.

Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
