The products include full line of excavators, wheel loaders, utility loaders, dump trucks and aerial equipment in the largest market in Canada.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales of new and used construction equipment, utility equipment and tools and any other products offered by the company
  • Identify prospects & cultivate relationships with existing & potential customers through inperson and site visits.
  • Develop sales plans, marketing and promotion strategies for the territory.
  • Provide monthly and yearly sales forecasts on a timely basis.
  • Gathering of market information regarding trends and pricing
  • Conduct tradein and submit appraisal information
  • Preparing initial costing sheets and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate the smooth completion of sales transactions and conduct deliveries of equipment onsite.
  • Liaison with the customer(s) and employer
  • Assist with account receivable collections
  • Submit call reports weekly
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis
  • Prepare customer status reports, including but not limited to sales call activity, closing, followup, and prospect reports as required.

Required Skills:


  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated, selfdirected and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with clients.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport is required.

Required Experience

  • A postsecondary diploma is preferred.
  • 3 years of Construction or Utility Equipment sales experience with known brands
  • A positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of construction equipment and the Utility industry
  • Strong people skills, with a high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships
  • Ability to work unsupervised, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focuses and priorities

$75,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
