About Practice Ready Ontario (PRO)


Funded by the Government of Ontario, Touchstone Institute works closely with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Medical Council of Canada, and others while administering the PRO program.

PRO is a workplace assessment program that aims to add internationally trained family physicians or general practitioners who have completed post-graduate training and have an established track record of work in another country to practice in rural communities in Ontario.

Position Description


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Implementation, this position is the main point of contact for all PRO physician assessor sites.

In this role, the Client Services Assessment Site Coordinator tracks, manages and addresses all issues arising at physician assessor sites in relation to the PRO program, and ensures all matters are appropriately dealt with and/or referred to the proper resources for resolution.

Key Accountabilities


Program Coordination

  • Maintains accurate and completes physician assessor files documenting specific requirements of each assessor site.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to coordinate successful PRO programming.
  • Makes suggestions on how to better support the organization's objectives based on the feedback received from stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Tracks, manages, and reports on all physician assessor site issues.
  • Complies with internal processes and procedures for safeguarding data and audit requirements.
  • Communicates with assessor sites on issue resolution.
  • Works with Implementation Manager to draft and coordinate necessary regulatory reporting for assessors, funders, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works with Program Manager and Director to draft and coordinate necessary reporting for clients, funders, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Inputs all postprogram information to internal databases for reporting purposes.
  • Provides input and maintains program policies as required.
Position Requirements


Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and tools
  • Knowledge of and experience with Learning Management Systems an asset
  • Strong oral communication skills speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listens, and gets clarification if needed, responds well to stakeholder inquiries and has the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Advanced written communication skills writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, varies writing style to meet the needs of various audiences, presents numerical data effectively.
  • Welldeveloped critical thinking skills to identify key issues and propose solutions.
  • Selfdirected with the ability to independently prioritize tasks and set goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to process multiple types of information, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views welcomes feedback, contributes to a positive working environment, supports the organizations efforts to succeed.

Qualifications:


  • University degree or college diploma in education, health sciences or a related field
  • Minimum 23 years' experience in a client service type role
