Overview:

As a project manager within our healthcare team, you will work to assist clients in planning and delivering complex healthcare projects.

You are familiar with healthcare design and construction, standards, and Canadian building codes.

You will be leading others while collaborating with internal and external team members to contribute to the final deliverables as required under direction of the Principal in charge.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing complex tasks on multiple healthcare projects.
Lead the client and project team to assure that the project design meets the client budget, schedule, program, and design intent.
Plan, organize and direct the work throughout the project lifecycle to successfully deliver the project to the client.
Lead and direct the coordination of project documents with internal team members and external consultants.
Lead client/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, client, contractor and subcontractor.
Evaluate, advise on and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
Responsible for ensuring projects meet all safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Excellent understanding of healthcare design codes and guidelines, accessibility codes, lifesafety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards.
Proactively take appropriate action without requiring continued direction or guidance.
Effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Team player with the client, entire project team and contractor.
Designbuild and alternate project delivery experience is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and SketchUp.

Credentials:

10+ years' experience working as a Project Manager on healthcare projects or other complex projects.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
PMP is not required but considered an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
