Position Description:


The
Supervisor of Protection Services provides 24 hour direction and supervision to all security officers on shift, and ensures they carry out their duties in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

He/she is responsible for managing the department of Protection Services when the Coordinator and/or Manager of Patient Support Services is not on the property while maintaining proactive protection of Hospital, Patients, Visitors, Staff and assets.

Here's What You'll Need

  • College certificate, or equivalent, with 2 years of security or fire protection management experience
  • Specific experience within a health care environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of legal and investigative processes
  • Good oral and written communications, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential issues and interact with people at all levels within the organization

Employment Type
Full-time permanent (37.5 hours/week)
