Description

The comfort in is looking for a reliable part time Housekeeping Attendant.

MUST BE VACCINATED FOR COVID 19. Must be available weekends.

Room Attendants will clean the guest rooms and will support by running laundry, stripping rooms, and stocking. Breakfast training will also be required.

Responsibilities completed by these roles include:

Stripping linens from beds and bathrooms & handling linen in line with Resort standards
Making beds
Vacuuming and dusting throughout the suite (carpeting & hardwood floors)
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Clean appliances and remove garbage
Clean glass, wood, aluminum and marble surfaces with approved cleaning products
Attend to guest requests for extra supplies or other items
Responsible for ensuring that linens and amenities are fully stocked in the housekeeping pantry.
Handle and report lost and found items according to Hotel policy
Report room items requiring maintenance
Report housekeeping items that require deep cleaning (e.g. stains on carpets and bed skirts)

The "must haves":

Positive attitude, self starter, team player and solutions orientated
Strong attention to detail
Personal motivation to manage time and tasks so the right things get done at the right time and positive attitudes are maintained while under pressure
Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs, as well as stand, and exert wellpaced mobility for up to 8 hours

Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour
