Our advisory and consulting experts support almost every project at Hatch, whether in metals, infrastructure, or energy. - Updating and maintaining files and accurate metadata in the electronic document management system (EDMS).
- Formatting and quality checking project documentation using MS Word, Excel and other Office products.
- Coordinating preparation of complex documents with multiple owners when required.
- Managing RFIs.
- Converting documents to PDF and compiling multipart documents.
- Deliver consistent quality documents in accordance with project and client standards.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in an engineering environment.
- Must be detailoriented with an eye for quality and ability to enforce it.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications and PDF programs;
- Experience working in an EDMS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to receive and convey instructions and communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Is resourceful and confident, able to own and complete tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to learn other software tools;
- Solid knowledge of document management systems, processes and procedures;
- Can adapt to changes and multitask, able to identify and solve problems or ask for help.
