  • This position includes virtual classroom/independent instruction, support of labs/simulation and facilitation of instructor and preceptor led clinical practice education. Some travel is required.

    Job Duties
  • Work with Perioperative Nursing program faculty to:
  • Facilitate program delivery by tutoring and supporting students in the theory component; facilitating psychomotor skills labs and clinical experience as required.
  • Assist with coordination of clinical experiences.
  • Provide student support and counselling to facilitate student success.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress and program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate effective and efficient program administration.
  • Assist with revision of curriculum as needed.
  • Develop and maintain agency/community relations.
  • Participate in providing Quality Assurance for brokered deliveries.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • 1. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Two years recent and relevant clinical practice in operating room nursing.
  • Eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
  • Ability to support students in online development and delivery (i.e. Desire2Learn/Brightspace or other online education platforms).
  • Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.**Desired QSA
