Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental xrays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office schedule
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and insurance claims
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Familiarity with orthodontics, CAD/CAM technology, Epic software, and Dentrix software is a plus
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Proficient in using dental equipment and instruments
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Pay:
$19.29-$32.00 per hour

Experience:
Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
